Recipe for Couscous With Vegetables and Dried Fruits
Couscous is a dish of Arab origin, whose main ingredients are grains of durum wheat. These combined with vegetables such as carrots and nuts like walnuts, makes this preparation ideal recipe to incorporate a diet to lower cholesterol.
Couscous is made based on semolina, among other grains. This is a recipe which enhances the flavors, aromas and colors of the different foods that make up carrots, walnuts and raisins. It also allows lower cholesterol, thanks to the properties of these same ingredients.
Recipe for couscous with vegetables and dried fruit
Ingredients for 4 serving’s
large 1 cup couscous.
* 1 carrot peeled and thinly sliced.
* 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts.
2 tablespoons seedless raisins.
1 teaspoon olive oil.
* 1 ¼ cup water.
Salt and black pepper to taste.
* Cinnamon to taste.
Preparation
* in a saucepan place the olive oil, then the couscous and walnuts.
* Cook until the couscous begins to brown.
* Slowly add water, raisins and carrots.
* Season to taste.
* Cover.
* Carry over high heat until carrots are tender.
* Remove from heat.
* Let stand for 10 minutes.
* Serve.
Observations
* this recipe for couscous with carrots and nuts do not contain saturated fat, and cholesterol and provides 3 grams of fiber.
* If you want you can season with curry, it gives you a different color couscous.
Remember that you lower your cholesterol meals that contain foods low in fat and high in fiber and antioxidants.
Things to Avoid

Sports that are jumping up, trampling, tennis, squash, judo.
Crossing your legs.
High heels.
Smoking, abusing coffee, alcohol, spices, red meat.
The heat on the legs: heated floors, waxing, sauna, exposing her legs in the sun.
