A fit body also means a better defenses so it is highly recommended to avoid getting sick play sports or exercise regularly, not smoking and getting enough sleep. Psychological factors like stress and depression also can lower defenses.
Drink plenty of fluids is very important, since water is very important for our body, it must be renewed daily for a smooth functioning of the whole body. It’s also good to consume tea or fruit juice and not just water. Avoid soft drinks, alcohol or sugar. It is recommended to drink two liters a day but this can vary with each individual.
