Aromatherapy

This method uses essential oils as their primary medium. Each essential oil contains different properties. For example, some are soothing while others are stimulating. Others are antiseptic, antibacterial and antifungal.
Essential oils have been used throughout history by the Egyptians, Persians, the French and even the Bible mentions them. Recently, the use of aromatherapy has gained much popularity in the United States. In England there are 25 schools that are dedicated to studying the properties of these substances.
Aromatherapy works when the aroma is absorbed and reaches the brain’s limbic system. Through various processes, the limbic system, which is the center of emotions, react to the scent.
